AC vs DC EV charging

AC charging

Alternating-current sessions typically run for hours at **3.3–22 kW** (sometimes higher on three-phase AC). Type 2 and 3-pin points are usually AC. Your onboard charger limits power.

DC fast charging

Direct-current chargers bypass the onboard limit up to the station and vehicle maximum. **CCS2** DC sites in India commonly span **30–150+ kW** depending on hardware and grid supply.

What the map shows

We display each connector’s published **max power** and **power type** from OCPI. A high kW label does not guarantee that speed for every visit — temperature, state of charge, and load sharing matter.
